Red letter day for the new Parade

RED was the colour as Kilkenny’s new look Parade was officially opened on Saturday evening.
 
There in all his splendour was Santa Claus and also resplendent in their red Borough Council robes were the men and women from City Hall.
The official opening was by Mayor Malcolm Noonan while Santa also had words of wisdom for an attendance that was quite reasonable considering the bad weather.
